About Mr Yasir Khan

Mr Yasir Khan is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist and Medical Retina Lead at Moorfields Eye Hospital (North East Division). Based in London, he specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of complex eye conditions, including cataracts and retinal diseases such as age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic retinopathy.

He completed his extensive ophthalmology registrar training in the North Thames rotation. He further honed his expertise through fellowships at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital and Bristol Eye Hospital.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Khan is actively involved in research, having completed a research fellowship at King's College London and St Thomas' Hospital. His research interests focus on medical retina, ensuring his patients have access to the latest evidence-based treatments.
